The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good your whole body will be full of light.
What do you have your sight set on?
Such a Vivrant Thang…
I vividly remember tying out to the Purche Drill Team to this song.
If you could fly anywhere in the world, where would u go? Why?
When I was a 👧, every summer my dad used to give me books to read and have me write summaries abt what I read. My friends would be like “Dannggg yo Daddy give you book reports??!!” 😂😂😂 My favorite was Beautiful Jamaica (Cause its mostly pictures lol). #tbt #shoutouttoHopeton #guhreadabook! #youarewhatyouread #knowthyself
On the first full day in Ghana we went around an surveyed the different water sources. Most of them were polluted. But at this one all I could focus on was the kids jumping from the tree branches into the murky water. It reminded me of my first time jumping into the river in Jamaica as a kid. All of my cousins were getting annoyed with me because I kept trying to take my sweet little time to ease into the water and they were trying to do all kinds of flips and cool tricks. I just wasn’t trying to get bit by any fish or crocodiles hahahaha.
Unnu not ready for all this personality though.
Ekumfi Egyankwaa, Ghana
People in the village kept telling me I “dress like an African”, This was the day I understood why lol. She was showing me her skillss. #twins
In 2011 I was blessed to have the opportunity to travel to Ghana with Penn State Global Water Brigades to design and implement a sustainable water system for a small Village, (Ekumfi Ejyankwaa) to receive clean drinking water. It was an amazing experience over all and I wish that more black people could organize themselves and make it a priority to do such amazing development work in Africa.
I want to elaborate more on that topic but I will save that for another post.
